Good evening/morning.  

It’s been a busy day.  My gray hair is covered up now.  I stopped by my friend Michelle’s house for her birthday.  I saw Ready Player One, which I actually really liked minus a few minor details. 

After the movie I tried to stop by the bar for my friend Patrick’s birthday, but ended up being stuck on the freeway at a dead stop for about 45 minutes instead.  It was an accident, and seemed like a pretty bad one.  The guy driving me told not to look when we drove past the site of the crash, and I really wish I hadn’t.

It wasn’t gory, but there was kids’ stuff that the cleanup crew was pushing to the side of the road.  A lot of kids’ stuff, like stuffed animals and sippy cups.  I really hope that everyone involved is ok.  I don’t want to think about the alternative.

I’m going to take what is more or less a nap before I start another busy day.  I hope that everyone had a safe night.  See you in the morning.
