Clearing the Air
I received a series of messages today from a guy I met two days ago that got me thinking.
First of all, Matt and I didn’t end up seeing the movie. The theater was sold out of every showing. His name isn’t even really Matt (I let him pick his own name so he can remain somewhat anonymous). We rented a Redbox and played with his dog instead. Tom Bomb, if you’re reading this, it was NOT Redbox and chill.
I am naturally a monogamous person. I would love nothing more than to meet the perfect person for me tomorrow and live happily ever after. Unfortunately, that’s not the way it goes. You meet people, click with some of them, and most of them don’t make it past the first few dates for a multitude of reasons.
I try to keep this blog pretty light, but I just wanted to clarify my intentions. If I can’t have the picket fence life right away, I at least want to have fun with it while I get to know people and hopefully find love along the way.
On a lighter note, the tracksuit pub crawl is tomorrow. I’m going to try to Facebook Live it. See you all in the morning.
