10 Confusing Foods

Good evening, Jessica and I got on a rant about foods that must have been a beast to figure out.

10 Foods That Can Confuse You

1. Edamame – don’t eat the pod

2. Artichokes – pull out barbed leaves and then scrape a meager amount of vegetable off the end.

3. Tamales – remove the corn husks 

4. Whole coconuts – they are NOT naturally sweet on the inside

5. Ethiopian food – you are supposed to eat with your hands, using that flat bread that is served with it to scoop it up.

6. Prawns/crayfish – remove the head and suck out the brain

7. Jalapenos/habaneros/ghost peppers – there’s a surprise in every bite!

8. Botan rice candy – yes, you are supposed to eat the wrapper.

9. Pineapple: it hurts to just hold it in your hand, plus that core is rock-hard.

10. That coffee that’s made from animals pooping out the bean/cherry.  Just no.  I don’t even want to know who figured this nonsense out.
